Timeline explained

Select the site and camera(s) you wish to view. You can search by name or time. You also set the
beginning and end time for your search. Type will select the type of alarm to search for. (see 4) If
you choose name then all video within that time frame will be shown in box 2. If you choose time
then you must add the camera(s) you wish to view from the drop down box (Showing CAM 4 on
diagram). Tick select all for all cameras. Select Synchronise for all cameras to be playing at the
same time when you click on the time line. Once you have dened your search parameters then
click the search button and video(s) will show in box 2.

Once the les have shown in box 2 then you can click on a le to highlight it and then click the
play button to view it on the screen window.
If you picked multiple cameras and you clicked Synchronise then all cameras will be playing at
the same time if they recorded anything at that time.
Press download to record it to your computer or to a ash drive (this is how you give the police a
copy of your video footage).

At this point you will see a time line at the base of the video window 3. This has two bars (top
and bottom) The top bar shows minutes and the bottom bar shows hours. Areas on the time
line in green have recorded video and areas in red have no recorded video. By clicking on the
time lime at a given time you can view the recording at that time in the window above.
